The strong geometric shape and dramatic angles of the Aperture wall sconce capture the iconic qualities of the modern Art Deco style. Martin references the movement's links to Cubism, with a design rooted in creating symmetrical angles and layers of light, a sconce design which changes fundamentally depending on the viewers perspective.
A pure, seemingly simple design, this fascination with geometry and the layering of angles, allows the hidden LED light source to be diffused from the sides of the wall sconce, to create warm pools of light.
The clean symmetrical lines of the Aperture wall light make it especially suited to entrances and hallways, where it can be arranged in a series to great effect.
Handmade to order, the Aperture wall sconce is available in satin brass, antique brass, bronze & satin brass & black.
The Aperture wall sconce is hand made at our Sussex studio workshop from solid brass.
