The Metro Chandelier is a custom built modernist staircase light, designed by Martin Huxford for this beautifully refined luxury Paris Haussmann apartment. The chandelier is an elegant blend of the classic and modern, and works well in either interior, as we show in the in situ images below. The Paris project is by acclaimed Architecte and Createur Michel Amar.
Custom design versions of the Metro Chandelier are handcrafted at our Sussex studio in England. Made to order, the Metro can be specified in different lengths, width, metal finishes, RAL powder coated colours, and shade colour, chosen to work best with your project.
The Metro design for the Paris project is made with a brushed brass centre column, antique patinated brass arms, black shades.
Focal Point Lighting
The slender 30cm width and extended height of the Metro Chandelier makes it a versatile light. We show it here, as a long suspension light within the room space, creating a sculptural focal point and contemporary fitting for end of sofas, and to provide drama to corners and enclaves.
