The Tallis design showcases the beauty of natural alabaster and solid bronze, with each material handworked as opposing minimalist curves. The delicate veined alabaster cuts through the solid frame of the bronze, to spread illumination from both the front and to the side of the light.
The Tallis design delights with its mingling of opposites, of light and dark, of straight and curved, of strong and delicate. The powerful vertical lines of the curved bronze frame create a bold contrast to the warm curve of the alabaster, an artful contrast of form and texture.
The Tallis is available in two sizes, with a height of 62cm or the feature XL sconce at 112cm. Handmade to order at our Sussex Studio, the alabaster comes with a satin brass, antique brass or bronze surround.
