New for Spring 2023, the Glide is a beautifully detailed chandelier, with three elegantly shaped arms in solid walnut, topped by distinctive multiple shades. Our choice of handmade natural materials and the simple shape of the design make this a feature light suitable for both modern and traditional country settings.
Each arm tapers towards the end point, and is decorated with wide cone shaped shades, arranged in pairs along the top of the arm. The harmonious design creates a relaxed ambience and works well as a feature light for dining room or drawing room.
The Glide is made from hand finished walnut, which has been carefully shaped and detailed with antique brass. The lower edge of each arm is outlined by a single edging of solid brass, which we finish with an antique or bronze patina.
The chandelier is inspired by the drifting outlines of gliders in the open skies near our studio in the South Downs. The design captures this sense of ease and peaceful relaxation.
