The modernist Birdie Flight Chandelier is an abstract, poetic design, referencing the movement of birds. With mobility at the heart of this sculptural piece, the Birds and articulated arms can be rotated and re-ordered to create an ever-changing graphic visual effect.
The Birdie Flight chandelier celebrates playfulness, movement and light, with each articulated arm and Birdie shade ready to be arranged for maximum effect. From a horizontal strictly linear look to an exuberant display of cascading angles and arms, the chandelier creates an inspiring centrepiece for dining table, entrance or drawing room. Handmade in custom sizes, the Birdie is inspired by the great abstract sculptor, Alexander Calder.
We are delighted to share this custom project for renowned interior designer Robert Steloff, in the exclusive Holmby Hills, LA. The custom design pairs beautifully polished nickel arms with white Birdie shades and discs. Through sharing emails, conversations and detailed drawings, the perfect dimensions and finishes for the bespoke Birdie were agreed and signed off.
"Cannot thank you both enough for the beautiful design, craftsmanship, gauge & quality of materials, & exceptional all-around experience working from across the pond!! The clients are beyond thrilled, I am most happy, you hit every mark." Robert Steloff @robertsteloffdesign
