The Origin white plaster lamp

Origin is one of a unique series of sculptures by Martin Huxford. The white plaster lamp is an exciting juxtaposition of smooth architectural shapes and rough organic textures. Each face of the lamp presents us with a different view as geometry battles softer organic forces. Angular cuboid shapes frame the circular centres, as the rough contrasts with the smooth.

On the left, the organic edge of the sculpture is a graphic assertion of the natural, as a projecting curve of rough texture breaks out from the stacked geometry of the main body of the lamp.

Each Lamp is made to order and hand finished at our studio in Sussex. Available in white plaster, gold, light bronze and dark bronze.
