Birdie Flight Chandelier

The modernist Birdie Flight Chandelier is an abstract poetic design, a flight of fancy which suggests the movement of birds in flight. Movement and change lie at the heart of this elegant design, the articulated arms and Birdie shades allowing the shape of the chandelier to be constantly refreshed.

The stylised Birdie lights, and the three horizontal branch arms, can all be rotated, moved vertically and re-ordered, to create an ever changing graphic visual pattern.

The simplified form of the Birdie shade is constructed from patinated brass or powder coated steel. The body of the bird is constructed from a shaped solid brass tubular section which contains the LED bulb.

The Birdie Chandelier celebrates the beauty of poetic modernism and the continuing inspiration of the great Alexander Calder's sculptures.

Finishes: Black arms. The shades, discs and details come in satin brass, antique brass or bronze. Please contact us to discuss custom Birdie options.
Size: Available in 2 sizes. Medium 120cm (47") diameter or XL 154cm (60") diameter. Length of drop is made to order.
